The Gamma Lambda chapter (#83) at Doane College was installed May 16, 1954 with District V Governor James Kerr serving as the installing officer. The Beta Tau chapter performed the Ritual and installation ceremony. Charter members of the Gamma Lambda chapter include: Richard Kucera, William Trepka, Frank Gile, Gary Heeren, Roger Kilgore, Benjamin Kremanek, John McAndrew, Stan McKelvie, Paul Novak, John Potter, Walter Reiss, Gene Remmers, Dean Steinmeyer, Keith Wollen, and Eugene Stoll.
