Nu Omicron Chapter installed at the University of New Haven

The Nu Omicron Chapter (#327) at the University of New Haven was installed on April 24, 2016. This was the fourth installation of the 2015-17 biennium.
Multiple chapters served as participants in the ritual degrees throughout the colonization process. Mr. Eric Morson, Board of Trustees Member, served as the Colony Adviser and Installing Officer.

Active and alumni members from the following chapters attended the installation and assisted with initiation: Alpha Epsilon, Alpha Omega, Delta Omicron, Epsilon Nu, Eta Rho, Lambda Nu, Theta Beta, and Theta Upsilon. Current NED Council members in attendance: President Kylie Wolfe, Vice President Shanon Rubin, and Member At Large Emily McPeake. Past NED Officers included: Vice President Emily Quinlisk, Historian/Alumni Liaison Alex Finkel, and Secretary/Treasurer Howard Kalfus.

Nu Pi chapter installed at the University of Illinois at Chicago

The Nu Pi Chapter (#328) at the University of Illinois at Chicago was installed on May 1, 2016. This was the fifth installation of the 2015-17 biennium.
The Mu Delta chapter at Western Michigan University served as the advising chapter and NCD Governor Jason Mlady served as the colony adviser. Mr. Marco Krcatovich, National Vice President for Programs, served as the Installing Officer.

Active and alumni members from Nu, Gamma Pi, Kappa Chi, and Mu Delta attended the initiation and installation. Director of Bands, Dr. José Riojas and NCD Governor Jason Mlady were also in attendance.

Nu Xi chapter installed at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

The Nu Xi chapter (#326) at The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign was installed March 13, 2016. This was the third installation of the 2015-17 biennium. The Alpha Zeta chapter from Indiana University served as the advising chapter and performed all rituals. Mr. Marco Krcatovich II, National Vice President for Programs, served as the Installing Officer.

Active and alumni members from the following chapters attended ritual and installation: Eta, Nu, Alpha Zeta, and Eta Delta. NCD Governor Ishbah Cox, NCD President Bang Co, and NCD Secretary/Treasurer Jeric Tumang were also in attendance.

Lambda Mu chapter re-installed at East Tennessee State University

The Lambda Mu Chapter (#276) at East Tennessee State University was re-installed on February 6, 2016. This was the second installation of the 2015-17 biennium.

The Lambda Rho Chapter from Tennessee Technological University served as the advising chapter. A large contingent from the Lambda Rho Chapter was present including several alumni brothers. Mr. Evan Thompson, National VPCM, served as the Installing Officer.

The charter members of the Lambda Mu chapter include: Jessica Allison, Cory Seguin, Rebecca Kelly, Dakota Wilson, Nathan West, Katie Wright, Michelle LaLonde, Sarah King, and Erica Hicks.

Gamma Eta chapter re-installed at New Mexico State University

The Gamma Eta Chapter (#79) at New Mexico State University was reinstalled on November 15, 2015. This was the first installation of the 2015-17 biennium.
Beta Lambda Chapter from Eastern New Mexico University served as the advising chapter, and Mr. Dustin Seifert (Director of Bands, Eastern New Mexico) served as the advising person. Mr. Steve Nelson, National Executive Director, served as the Installing Officer. Officers in attendance included SWD Vice President Justin Chesak. A large contingent from the Gamma Iota Chapter at the University of New Mexico was also present. Others in attendance include alumni brothers from Alpha Psi (West Texas A&M) and Alpha Iota (Univ. of Colorado). Over 40 people attended the event.

Charter members of the Gamma Eta chapter include: Bethany Butchko, Cayden Wilson, Courtney Lucero, Daniel Flores, Enoeka Abasumoh, Julianna Bowes, Julianne Gutierrez, Meggan Peel, Antoinette Gucela, Jennifer Flores, Ingrid Larragoity-Martin, and Christopher Hughes.

48th Biennial Convention Held

The 48th Biennial Convention of Kappa Kappa Psi was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Lexington, KY from July 28 – August 1. The following members were elected to the National Council & Board of Trustees on August 1, 2015 and served until July 22, 2017:

Nu Nu chapter installed at the University of Alabama

The Nu Nu chapter (#325) at the University of Alabama was installed April 21, 2015 with National Executive Director Steve Nelson serving as the installing officer. The Pi chapter served as the advising chapter and Dr. Craig McClure was the advising person.

The installation was well attended with at least 75 people there, including the parents of one of the colonists. Ten different chapters of KKPsi and one chapter of TBS were represented in the audience: Alpha; Epsilon, Pi, Upsilon, Gamma Nu, Eta Pi, Theta Theta, Kappa Omicron, Kappa Psi, Mu Iota, and Theta (TBS).

Charter members of the Nu Nu chapter include: Erica Peterson; Madeline West; Desmond Rudd; John P. Gravitt; Savannah Smith; Austin Woods; Leon Scobey, III; Kirsten Fiscus; Gregory Dunn; Matthew Jeans; and Semitra Lee.

Nu Mu Chapter installed at Kennesaw State University

The Nu Mu chapter (#324) at Kennesaw State University was installed April 16, 2015 with National Vice President for Colonization and Membership Jack Lee serving as the installing officer. The Kappa Mu chapter served as the advising chapter. Charter members of the Nu Mu chapter include: Katlin Franson, Rachel Rabeneck, Adam Reep, Andrew Pellom, Brandt Winters, Cheylin Dutra, Courtney Hamilton, Jackson Conner, James Down, Louis Livingston, Mason Upshaw, Mudussir Quraishi, Sean Brinkley, Stewart Yancey, and Travis Longenberger.

Iota Beta chapter re-installed at Alcorn State University

The Iota Beta chapter (#218) at Alcorn State University was re-installed April 11, 2015 with SED Governor Dr. Craig Aarhus serving as the colony advisor and the installing officer. The Epsilon chapter served as the colony’s advising chapter and performed the Ritual and installation ceremony. Charter members of the Iota Beta chapter include: Everson Martin, Renardo Murray, Brian Sterling, William McDaniel, Edison Waters, Demarlon Walker, Jacobi Lightell, Oliver Stevens, Gevante Titus, Joel Jackson, Isreal Thompson, Jonathan Weir, Edison Waters, Nathaniel Dixon, Alexander Taylor, Matthew Dickinson, Dwight Blakely, Jeremy Ross, Toby Williams, Chesteron Frye, Brandon Sanders, Frederick Hawkins, Zavien Owens, and Jeromy Smith.

Alpha Alpha chapter re-installed at the University of Nevada

The Alpha Alpha chapter (#25) at The University of Nevada was re-installed on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at The University of Nevada campus in Reno. This was a reactivation of the 25th chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, and was the seventh installation of the 2013-2015 biennium. National Board of Trustees Member, Eric Morson, served as the installing officer. Past WD President, Charlene Ronne, served as the advising person, and the Iota Kappa chapter at Boise State University was the advising chapter.

The Installation was well attended and included brothers from the Psi, Gamma Kappa, Delta Omicron, Iota Alpha, Iota Kappa, Lambda Alpha, and Theta Nu chapters.
