The Theta chapter (#8) at Oregon State University was re-installed January 3, 2009 with National Vice President for Colonization & Membership Derrick Mills serving as the installing officer. The Gamma chapter from the University of Washington served as the advising chapter and performed the Ritual preceding the ninth colony installation of the 2007-09 biennium.

The Mu Theta chapter (#296) at Bethel College was installed on November 22, 2008 with National President Malinda Matney serving as the installing officer. Jennifer & Jeremey Taylor served as advising persons, and the Delta Gamma chapter served as advising chapter.
Charter members of the Mu Theta chapter include: Kerry Holliday, Maurice Reed, Constance Nicholson, Mark Crayton, Keith Jones, Reynold Douglas, Jessica Smith, Mark Shreve, Thomas Oakley, and John Strickland.
The Mu Eta chapter (#295) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill was installed on September 6, 2008 with National Vice President for Student Affairs Jason Morris serving as the installing officer. The Zeta Chi chapter from the University of South Carolina served as the advising chapter, and SED Governor David O’Shields served as advising person.
Attending the installation were many friends and family members as well as brothers from Zeta Chi, Kappa Sigma, Iota Zeta, Kappa Mu, Iota Lambda and sisters from Iota Lambda and Epsilon Alpha. In addition, Ken Corbett, Past National President and DSMM recipient, and Phil Rubin, past National Chapter Field Representative were present.
Charter members of the Mu Eta chapter include: Andre Watson; Jesse Watson, Jr.; Terry Hartman; Anthony Sawyer; Clifton Carroll; Terrass Misher; Avery Simmons; Channing Bennett; and Jeffrey Fuchs.
The Mu Zeta chapter (#294) at Diablo Valley College was installed May 11, 2008 with National Vice President for Programs Adam Cantley serving as the installing officer. The Alpha Iota chapter served as advising chapter, and Past WD Vice President Nicholas Chitwood served as the advising person.
The installation was attended by the following chapters of Kappa Kappa Psi: Beta Omicron, Gamma Kappa, Iota Alpha, Iota Kappa, Iota Pi, and Lambda Psi. Also in attendance were Tau Beta Sigma members from Omega, Alpha Chi, and Eta Omega. Thanks to Western district officers who attended: Zac Humphrey, Adam Brover, and Scott Phillips.

The Mu Epsilon chapter (#293) at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania was installed May 2, 2008 with Past National President, and vice chair of the Board of Trustees, Michael Osborn serving as the installing officer. Past NCD President Marco Krcatovich served as advising person, and the Zeta Mu chapter served as the advising chapter.

The Mu Delta chapter (#292) at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan was installed Friday, February 29, 2008 on the WMU campus. Mu Delta is the fourth chapter to be installed this biennium and the first chapter in our fraternity’s history to be installed on Leap Day. The Nu chapter from the University of Michigan served as the advising chapter, and past SED Governor Chris Haughee served as the advising person for Mu Delta.
Attending the installation were brothers from chapters in four of our districts including: Nu, Beta Rho, Gamma Nu, Delta Upsilon, Epsilon Pi, Zeta Epsilon, Theta Phi, Iota Lambda, Kappa Chi, and Lambda Tau. In addition, Dr. Malinda Matney, National President, and Chris Haughee, past Southeast District Governor and DSMM recipient were present. Following their installation, Mu Delta was presented with a paddle from the founder of the Western Michigan Band program, Leonard Meretta, who gifted it to the soon-to-be chapter before passing away. The paddle dates to Meretta’s initiation into the Nu Chapter at the University of Michigan in 1938 and is signed by brothers from that time—including William Revelli.

The Mu Gamma chapter (#291) at Houston Baptist University was installed on November 4, 2007 with National Executive Director Alan Bonner serving as the installing officer. Former National Chapter Field Representative Jeremy Thomas served as the advising person, and the Iota Upsilon chapter served as the advising chapter.
